Control Panel Design, Manufacture & Installation

We are able to carry out full design and assembly of electrical control panels for virtually any application at our panel shop based at our offices in Mansfield where we are equipped with a substantial range of tools and test equipment.

We can work to existing clients plans and schematics or design systems from scratch based on the machine or process required and then carry out full installation on site using our own engineers carrying out any fabrication, welding and assembly in-house.  We are also equipped with the latest in laser cutting and engraving machines allowing the accurate production of control panels and mimic panel along with engraving of control switches and displays directly into or onto the panel itself along with making bespoke signage for any requirement in a range of materials including plastics, wood and metals.

Below  are a few examples of machines we have built:-

Hardbanding machines - over the past few years we have built a number of hardbanders for the oil industry which basically consist of plc controlled automatic welders which build up, gouge metal and balance drill pipe used on oil rigs.  Each machine is self contained, containerised with on board generator and touch screen controls to allow deployment anywhere in the world.  We have units operating in the U.K., Vietnam and Dubai at present.

For another client we built generator controls with under & overvoltage trips, voltage regulator and shutdowns to match existing generators already in service on trains in Ireland.

For another client we carried out the electrical assembly and commissioning of a radio controlled caterpillar track mounted hydraulic measuring rig for use in the blast furnace of Corus Steels South Korea plant.  The machine was equipped with advanced measuring equipment and assembled to withstand steam and 500’C temperatures with remote control to allow the operator to stay out of danger during operation.
