Social Housing / Decent Homes, New Build & Self Build Projects

For a number of years we have been involved in social housing contracts for local authorities involving inspection and testing, upgrades of domestic properties and full rewires.

During 2005 we expanded more into this work and got involved in the decent homes programmes for a number of ex local authority ALMO groups via construction companies such as Bullock Construction and Connaught Partnerships carrying out more extensive kitchen & bathroom upgrades to heating installations and rewires where we presently work in thousands of properties per year.  We have also been called in as an independent testing company to inspect properties and advise on their condition prior to the upgrade being carried out by other contractors.

In addition to this we also work directly for builders and construction companies on one off new builds and refurbishments and also install lighting controls systems and design and install lighting and water feature plans for garden areas.

We also occasionally carry out full refurbishment of complete properties including roofing, bricklaying, plastering, plumbing, carpentry, tiling & decoration in addition to electrical upgrade work.

On new build, self build & refurbishment projects we can also include the installation of renewable energy installations, electrical underfloor heating, CCTV systems including internet remotely monitored DVR systems, both wired and wireless security alarm systems, door entry and access/automated gate controls, rainwater harvesting installations, CAT5 data installations and we have been involved in the control wiring of various wet underfloor heating systems, Air Source and Ground Source heating with plumbing companies.
